[6408] Cybersecurity Technician

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Requirements
• Higher secondary education with at least 3 years of post-related experience, including at least 1 year of post-related experience working with secure collaborative services.
• At least 1 year of experience maintaining, operating, and supporting Secure Voice, Video and Video Teleconferencing over IP (V3oIP) services.
• At least 1 year of experience assessing and resolving technical issues in troubleshooting environments, including under pressure and within time constraints.
• At least 1 year of experience with WAN communications, router/switch-based networks, and routing protocols.
• Specific expertise in Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunking, including creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, diagrams, training materials, and Requests for Change.
• English language proficiency at Level V (Advanced).

Desirable
• Field experience and knowledge of Session Border Controllers (SBCs), particularly Cisco Expressway.
• Knowledge and experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
• Familiarity with NATO and national IT security policies.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining network-based systems in accordance with NATO, BICES, and/or national security regulations.

Duties & Role
• Provide 2nd level technical support for complex Voice, Video, and Teleconferencing IP-related services and associated components.
• Support the design, documentation, testing, and implementation of projects, including all stages of service transition.
• Perform problem management, recovery, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational activities for secure Voice, Video, and V3oIP services.
• Maintain and support daily Secure V3oIP operations.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues within Voice, Video, and VTC environments.
• Contribute to the investigation of potential CIS security vulnerabilities.
• Perform in-depth technical and security analysis to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Prepare reports for the Security Operations branch, including recommended actions to eliminate, remove, or mitigate CIS security risks.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, diagrams, training materials, and Requests for Change.
• Support network and communications operations involving WAN, routing, switching, and SIP trunking.
• Coordinate with relevant technical and security personnel to resolve operational and security issues.
• Undertake operational deployments and/or travel assignments within and beyond NATO territory when required.
• Work within a Secure Facility environment and outside normal office hours when required.
